What can you do when your iphone 4 LCD Screen cratches

I have developed a nice scratch on the front of my Iphone 4. Silly me I know for not having a screen protector. Aside from the iphone 4 LCD Screen, the whole phone is working perfect. I don’t know what can I do to make it looks as before.

Some friends suggest me that search some imformation about the Apple policy or make a phone call to Apple to ask if they can repair the screen. Yeah, I do these.
In just two days since its release, Accessoires iphone 4 owners have found a plethora of potential and real-world problems, from a faulty antennas and Bluetooth headset connectivity issues to screen discolorations and scratches. Then there's the phone's glass. Why oh why did Apple decide to use glass for the back of the iPhone 4? As Ryan Salerno, a Gizmodo writer, discovered this morning, glass is breakable.

It is a good news, it means that glass is replaceable. If you're handy with a screwdriver and don't mind performing  surgery on your iPhone, you can tear it down far enough to replace even the LCD screen. And I call to the Apple to make sure this policy. However, my phone is a factory unlocked iphone 4 so I don't have warranty for it. The Apple policy is no help to me.

Then I try to looked at a couple of youtube videos and searched google for some tips on replacing the screen myself.

So I have to purchase an outer glass lens which im guessing is the right thing to replace, however there are other glass replacements that include digitizers and panels etc, which obviously cost more.

Ah! I get my new front glass. Now, I follow the video from tuyube step-by step to disassemble my Iphone4.

I will, of course, need replacement parts for either the front or rear glass, but they're not readily available yet. (Note to suppliers: I could make a mint by manufacturing a plastic replacement backing for the iPhone 4. The glass is just plain silly.) The really interesting part of this video happens about the 1 minute, 40 second mark, when the repair guy plucks out the battery after removing only a couple screws and the back plate. That's all it takes?

I know it's a little early to start talking about battery replacement, but it's nice to know how relatively painless it'll be when the time comes. In fact, I'd go so far as to say the iPhone 4 has a user-replaceable battery.

Okay. The phone is disassembled. Now, I have to install the iPhone 4 LCD Screen replacement following the video step-by-step too. It just cost 10 minutes to finish.
It is so easy. Why not replace the screen by yourself if your phone is a factory unlocked iphone 4?
